NASA "PROMISE"
Brought in on a fast turnaround to cut PROMISE. A look at NASA's next-generation lunar rover, headed for the Moon's south pole. That's where signs of frozen water have been detected, and where a future crewed base is planned. Rovers like PROMISE are how the logistics, planning, and construction work gets done before the astronauts arrive.
The piece was originally scoped as an internal presentation for members of the U.S. government to promote the upcoming mission. JPL shot live footage of one of the rovers currently on-site, and I was asked to design an animated motion graphics sequence to illustrate the new tech being added to it, which became the motion graphics section near the end of the video.
The team at JPL was happy enough with the cut to release it publicly. NASA shared it on X.
