Preacher Agency was looking for a unique artistic style that showcased stitched shots of NHL hockey players while consistently keeping the camera in a fluid left to right motion. This perspective offers an exciting and fresh way to examine the energy and inherent drama of the sport as it evolves over the course of the season, transitioning smoothly from individual players showcasing their skills, to exhilarating team celebrations, and culminating in the thrilling moment of hoisting the Stanley Cup. It proved to be an enjoyable challenge to creatively find natural transitions between various scenes, while often needing to engineer a camera move on shots that didn’t naturally lend themselves to that kind of movement.
