A really fun comedy job. There are no cuts, but my job was to help dictate the pacing of the action to fully realize the humor and fun. This included timing of actions, sound design, and improvised character lines to enhance the story. We did several tests before the shoot that helped us hone in on the comedy beats. Post work was a fun mix of shot footage, VFX, and CG animation.

I made this as part of the pitch for the job. The agency asked to see a Mario Bros. themed story. In the end, although agency and client loved the concept, they couldn't secure the rights to partner with the Nintendo brand.
